DISBURSEMENT OF RENT REFUND SCHEME

As of March 2021 eligible businesses started receiving the first tranche of assistance under the Rent Refund scheme. 850 companies and 874 self-employed individuals employing 14,000 workers in Malta and 867 workers in Gozo are currently receiving the first tranche of assistance totaling up to €5.5m. The full contribution towards this scheme is estimated to reach €12 million.
